6-YEAR-OLD NELLY FIGHTING FOR HER LIFE
For three years Beverly Hawver and her husband Scott were foster parents to Nelly in their home in Hawaii. It is alleged that Nelly was critically brain injured while in the custody of her biological mother. Beverly and Scott advocated for Nelly while she flourished in their care and reported unnerving behaviors after Nelly was on enforced visitation with her biological mother. Nelly is now fighting for her life in the critical care unit of a Hawaii hospital. You can see more about Beverly and Scott's fight for Nelly at justice4nelly.com The Department of Human Services Director Lillian Koller has issued a statement that can be seen, along with case records and case files at justice4nelly.com
Please monitor the ACBI site for updates on Nelly's case as we continue our advocacy measures on her behalf.
